The entire point of purchasing Bitcoin through the Bitvice platform is to ensure that you take self-custody of your Bitcoin.
As such, you will need to confirm that your Bitcoin has arrived in your wallet after completing your transaction with Bitvice. Once Bitvice has executed your order (purchased your Bitcoin), we will start the process of sending your Bitcoin to you in an On-Chain transaction.
This may take anywhere from 1 hour to up to 48 hours for your Bitcoin to arrive, fully confirmed, in your wallet. The variance in time is due to network activity. If the network is not particularly busy, then transactions clear relatively quickly. However, if the network is busy it may take longer. Bitvice always tries to optimize fees and as such aims to have your Bitcoin fully confirmed in your wallet within 24 hours. Rapid changed in network activity can influence this and are outside the control of Bitvice.
As soon as your transaction is broadcast to the Bitcoin network, Bitvice will send you an email with a transaction identification (TX id) link which you can click to follow the exact status of your transaction. You should also be able to track your transaction from within your wallet, which should indicate that a transaction is being received.

In order to know that your Bitcoin is completely under your control the status of your transaction should read as Confirmed with more than 6 transactions. If that status of your transaction reads as confirmed, but with less than 6 transactions, wait another 1-2 hours and you should have full confirmation (>6).
